Robert Jordan wrote this epic fantasy about a boy who discovers he has the rare ability to "channel" (use magic of some sort) and Aes Sedai (female wizards, basically), as well as a bunch of other cool stuff. It goes through various characters' travels and the personal conflicts going on with each one of them. I recommend this series to anyone who loves fantasy novels.
This series is sooo looooonnnngg. But it's reeaaally good.  The newest and last book of the series (the 12th book) should be coming out this year. I can't wait! Then again, I probably could, seeing as I'm still working on reading and re-reading the other parts of the series. >_>
