Sounds like a good idea. You've got quite a lot of time to decide, though. As for me, I'm going to be dropping Technical Production, and adding Chemistry and Society, which is basically Chemistry for non-science majors.

Right now, I'm kinda looking into pre-law, out of curiosity, but that's not really a major. If I did decide I wanted to go to law school, though, I could major in pretty much anything I wanted.

You + Law? I don't know. Have fun with that. My parents said I would be good with law, but I have avoided it.

I always liked arguing and that lead me to think that I would do great in Harvard, but I eventually saw that it just wasn't for me. I don't think I would be very good at Law now.

Yeah, get that major picked, but no pressure. Have you talked with your advisor yet, or instructors involved in that field? It could help you decide.

Yeah, I've talked with my advisor, and I talked to the pre-law advisor as well. I was kinda confused after talking to him, though. I'm probably going to go to Career Services next, and talk to them.

Eh, it's alright. Fortunately, there's more than one person I can talk to, anyway. I kinda got the feeling he was more about politics than anything else, anyway. And I think he assumed that I meant something else when I was saying something, or something else, because I'm pretty sure that I didn't say what he thought I said at one point in our meeting. I don't know, that was part of the confusion of the whole thing. And instead of being an informative meeting, it felt more like an interrogation, because he just wanted me to ask him things, and I was thinking, "I don't know anything; you tell me what law is about". But I tried asking questions anyway. I didn't learn much though. Like I said, it was confusing.

Yeah, school advisors/councilors are crap, ain't much help. It feels like a crime to ask them sometimes. I never got much help extra help from them. I mean that things that they are suppose to do yeah, otherwise... Nah... My councilor is a great talker when talking about culture, and is very funny about it, but that's it...
Philosophy is hard in the first year or so, it does give you a headache because you are getting to thinking and reasoning through things you have never seen or thought about. Then it gets easy, since you know how everything works.
Philosophy should be taken by everyone no matter what field they do, it will help you, because thinking is the basis to everything in the world.
The class in the college I heard is a load of crap and makes little sense, so it is better to study for yourself outside. All you do in that class is understand why they think that way. It leans more on the Kantianism, Marxist, Altruist, collectivist, and that side of thinking.
