Apparently, this guy wasn't thinking straight. Maybe he should have paid a bit more attention to who was in the car? Just a thought. Here's the article:
It's not wise to slash a tire when there's a cop sitting in the car.
But that's what a 22-year-old Hamilton man did Thursday night when he punctured a tire on an unmarked Peel police cruiser sitting at the curb on a Hamilton street.
Peel officers were on an unrelated investigation on Britannia Avenue near Grimsby Avenue.
Two men and a young woman walked by, and one of the men stuck a knife in the cruiser's tire. The officer inside contacted his colleagues who were nearby, and they arrested all three a few metres away. One man and the woman were released.
The other male was charged with mischief under $5,000, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon, a set of brass knuckles found in his pocket.
He was released on a promise to appear in court.

Wow, way to go, and I mean that in the most sarcastic sense of the phrase. And not only, "Why would you slash a tire for no reason in the first place?", but "Why would you slash a tire of a car that had an occupant, who could call the police and tell them your description so that they could find you anyway?", the previous question being multiplied by the fact that the occupant of the vehicle just happened to be a police officer. And yeah, I bet a portion of the world's population tend to think that slashing tires is cool. You know, the portion of the world's population that annoys the heck out of the rest of the world?

If it really easy to slash tires or something?? People seem to think of it as a game now. (Most people who do this probably don't have any real hobbies to keep them occupied.) >_> |

I don't think it would be that easy, but what do I know, I've never slashed a tire before. Let's ask someone who has!

Somehow, I doubt we would find someone easily. Not many people would openly say they slash tires. >_> But ya never know. |
