Hahaha probobaly shouldn't be as nervous as i am but anyways heres why. At my High School we have a program called JROTC which is Junior Recruitment Officer Training Corps and is a program that instills leadership and teaches organization to a number of students (Cadets) My corps is Air Force but anyways we have about 600 cadets and there is alot of leadership positions starting from just an element leader ( commander of 5 cadets), Flight Commander (40 cadets), Squadron (120 Cadets) Wing Commander (600 cadets)
With every year you gain more experience on how to corps is run and how everything is organized and this year being my senior year i am applying for the second and fourth highest job in the corps. I have already turned in my application ( which was due at the end of the school year ) and now 3 weeks after schools been out i have been called in by the Instructor for an Interview for both the jobs i applied for.
My only concern is that this will be a very rigorous interview with constant questions asking about my Integrity and my abilities to work under stress. Im pretty sure i will do fine but haha you still never know. I go in at 10:30 AM which it is now 9:00 AM so yeah hope for the best hahaha.
Anyways ill give you guys the run down on how it went.

Oh, wow, that's cool. Congratulations, Wing Commander Gage! And don't worry, this is interesting. Thanks for sharing. But I have a question. You said you had about 600 cadets in your school's JROTC. Just how many people go to your school?

Congratulations! We have JROTC at our school as well, but I was never too interested in joining. I don't think I'd do too well.
Anyway, I think I want to second Raven's question. Just how many people do go to your school? (600 cadets? WHOA!)

Yeah our school has about 1000 students. We have one of the largest units in the nation.

Wow. My school had about 1000. I know we had a lot in JROTC, but wow! That's a big chunk of the 1000!

I second that "wow." My first high school (I went to the first high school for freshman and sophomore year, then I went to another high school and graduated from there) had about 700 students when I left (I think). There weren't near as many people in JROTC. I don't even think we had over one hundred students in that program. And the second high school I went to didn't have JROTC .
