I know I'm way behind what with having been on dial-up for 10 years but I'm finally moving to DSL and I'd love to hear of some sites and fun stuff I should explore with my increased capabilities. I already have eyes on YouTube but is there anything else I should check out? I'd love some recommendations!

Lol. Pandora.com is good to check out, if you like music. You can type in the name of a song or artist, and if it doesn't play that song or a song of the artist, it'll play a song similar to it. It's a GREAT way to find new music that's suitable to your tastes, and it requires fast internet. >_>
And congratulations!! I don't think I'd survive with dial-up. *shakes head*

Dial-up f**king sucks.
I don't know what to recommend to you without knowing what you like.

Yes! And damn it was awesome getting to check out YouTube today. Also all of the sites that were horrible to navigate with dial-up, like MySpace.

Eh, never cared too much for MySpace, but I can definitely say it's a "computer killer" for dial-up users.

it depends of what you like but Hulu.com is great for watching TV shows and some movies now that you have hi-speed.
I wish you the best in your internet searching. ~Rain

Haha. I remember going from dial-up to high-speed. It was a pleasant shock.

You can basically do anything now . I honestly don't think DSL has any limits. I remember a few years ago when I first got DSL that I was completely surprised at the speed of the Internet. The switch is amazing. ^_^
